Lil Goddess

Is this happening to you..?

- You sit down..meticulously plan your tasks for the day... and get to start off and ...lo.. you hear a wahhhh... waaahhhhh... n then a louder.. waahhhhhhhhh. and before you realize, you had jus wrapped a soiled nappy in the paper u had your schedule on.
- You have a luxurious warm bath and don on some nice perfume and think..Iam gonna get my beauty sleep today.... oh yeah?... someone has different plans... and you end up shaking rattles and stuffed teddies till 2 am.
- You are out and your fav restraunt beckons you... though you reason well and know you should wander away..you find youself following your nose into the restraunt.. But once the food arrives.. you try stuffing the food down ur gut with a tablespoon and rush for the door as the tiny being in your arms prefers to see your food on the table cloth and the cutlery on the floor rather than where it is meant to be.

If you found yourself nodding more vigourously with each point up there.. welcome to the world of Brand New Parents!

Wonder how God trains our lil brats to do the stuff they do.. they know what buttons to push to drive our stress levels up and patience levels down. They just know what can cause the greatest unimaginable damage.... and God...how effortlessly they bail themselves out by flashing their lil dimples.

But I know why God made babies. It is to make us parents grow up...grow up into individuals who learn to appreciate the selfless, unconditional love our parents shower on us, to become responsible for our actions and words so that we set right examples and of course to learn to love someone more than your self.

I never imagined I was capable of all this before. I used to believe moms are from another planet. How else could they be so forgiving, selfless and patient..? But now I know how God's lil bundles of joy are capable of moulding, folding and bending us into better human beings.

Iam on this learning curve now..and like any other learning curves in my life..this is a bumpy ride. But Iam holding on fast, because even though my sanity levels sometimes drop dangerously, Iam enjoying every minute of my life, with my little wonder.

My day starts not when I sleepily push off the alarm and drag myself out of the blanket..but when my lil goddess wakes up and flashes her dimples to say.. "Lets go mom..!"
